Even though it is shown who the content owner is and the information can be used as a visiting card to the contact person, it can be necessary to make it explicit who should be contacted regarding the specific content. This can be done by creating links, which links to a contact persons user profile. The link will in this way be accessible together with other content in the folder or page, whereas the content owner will always be placed on the bottom of the page.
Visiting card through links and user profile
You can create a link by using the URL from the persons user profile, after which you go to the specific content area and add a link. You can give a title and a description of the link which suits the context where the contact person appears.
This possibility to give the link a title and description means that you, as an editor, can make the context around the contact person clearer, e.g. by writing in the description how this person can contribute or when the person can be contacted. At the same time, the link will be searchable when someone searches in the specific content area.
Prioritization of content
While the view of the contact person can become more explicit through the different types of views in Colibo, the placement of the link can also be chosen. As a starting point, Colibo sorts the content in relation to type and name, but you can also manually choose if for example a visiting card/link on a contact person should appear first on the list, when a user enters the page. This is done by writing ‘1’ in the standard prioritize list on the specific link.
