Every user in Colibo can create as many personal favorites as they would like. These favorites will either be available under the menu item 'Favorites' or as a pinned favorite on the front page - this is entirely up to the individual user.
Besides that, it's possible for editors with the role 'Admin af gruppefavoritter' in the backend to create and manage favorites on behalf of individual users or groups of users.
There are various ways to work with managing favorites for other users. The following are just some examples.
One entrance for the organisations tools and systems
A lot of the tools and systems used in organisations are gathered in different ways. Some employees bookmark links in the browser, while others have the different entrances saved in documents or type in the entire URL every time.
To make this process more convenient and uniform, have editors manage all these common entrances as favorites in Colibo, so parts of or the entire organisation have them accessible without doing anything. It can be your payroll system, project management systems, homepage login for you company website or other external links to systems or tools, that a majority of the organisation uses.
Create your departments favorites
Almost the same as the above, this example is just on department level. As a manager of a department, create and manage favorites related to the work in your specific department. Maybe you have specific tools only relevant for your department. It could be a link to documents stored in Google Drive for a specific project, you are working on right now. Or an external tool for project management.
Make it easier for new employees
Creating favorites on different levels will automatically make it easier for new employees from day one. In stead of making new employees struggle with managing all of these systems and links, make it easy and accessible for them to get an overview. This will save a lot of time and resources, and make part of the onboarding process easier.
In general, manage some of the common entrances to make it easier for employees to only manage one entrance through Colibo.
